# Security

Unique.vc is a Solana-based non-custodial platform with advanced governance abilities. This makes our platform safe for users and their funds.

### Non-custodial platform

All funds raised on the platform are kept on-chain. No user has direct access to them as they are locked within a smart contract.

In order to spend or transfer funds to another wallet, a proposal needs to be created and accepted by club members.&#x20;

Unique.vc has no access to the funds and they cannot be transferred in any way apart from the above-described process.

### On-chain governance

All club’s transactions and activities are stored on-chain. Before making any changes in the club, or executing any of the proposals, club members need to vote and agree on the decision. <br>
